This was Joan’s first Christmas angel chosen as a needlework magazine cover. Gretchen still decorates our Christmas tree each December, and she is the first of 16 of Joan’s designs that have covered national needlework magazines over their Christmas issues.
Gretchen was created in 1993 for the cover of the magazine ”Needlepoint Plus”.
